Aunque muchas de las casas del pueblo están excavadas en la roca a modo de casa cueva, hay tres que son visitables y que llaman mucho la atención pues son verdaderos pasadizos que comunican ambas partes de la hoz. Se trata de las Cuevas de Masagó, del Diablo y del Garadén.
Otro sitio curioso de Alcalá del Júcar es la plaza de toros, cuya forma es completamente irregular y sus muros llaman la atención practicamente desde cualquier punto del pueblo.

Otro sitio interesante es subir a Las Eras, un pequeño pueblo al otro lado del río desde el que se tienen las mejores vistas de Alcalá del Júcar. Y ya a la salida el restaurante El Mirador desde donde también hay muy buenas vistas.
Álcala es también un sitio de referencia para realizar deportes de aventura. Nosotros ademas de los trekkings alrededor del pueblo hicimos algo de escalada, rafting y un paseito en quad con Multiaventura los Molinos.
